Built on the Positive Society Impact System
Fivestar applies the Positive Society Impact System of harm reduction, de-escalation and social responsibility across all operations. In supportive housing, officers are expected to know residents, recognize early signs of crisis, communicate calmly and resolve issues with dignity. Enforcement is a last step, not a first response.

- Overdose and medical-emergency response support, with naloxone kits carried where the site requires it
- Mobile patrol for exteriors and multiple sites

- Service of residential tenancy documents
- Tenancy Assist Program (TAP) support for housing providers
- Enforcement support when an order is issued, carried out in accordance with Nova Scotia legislation and the applicable order
Clear Records for Housing Providers
Incident reports record what happened, who was involved and what action was taken. Reports are submitted digitally, reviewed by management and shared with your staff. This helps your team plan resident supports and keep records if a tenancy matter proceeds. Field supervisors and our 24/7 Command Centre support officers on every shift.
