Security for Healthcare Environments
Healthcare facilities are open to the public around the clock. Staff, patients, residents and visitors need a safe setting that still feels like a place of care.
What Healthcare Security Has to Manage
- Agitated, distressed or intoxicated visitors and patients
- People in mental health or addiction crisis arriving at or near the facility
- Violence and harassment directed at clinical and support staff
- Open public entrances alongside restricted clinical, pharmacy and records areas
- Residents in continuing care who may wander or need support to stay safe
- After-hours periods with reduced staffing
- Incidents that need clear documentation for internal review and reporting
What 5 Star Security Provides
Our officers work with clinical teams, not around them. They are trained to protect people and treat patients, residents and families with dignity.
- On-site officers for access control, visitor management and patrols
- De-escalation-first support for staff when behaviour escalates
- Officer training covering addictions, mental health, poverty, cultural sensitivity and homelessness
- Officers matched to the risk of each post
- Mobile patrol for parking areas, exteriors and satellite sites
- Safety Support Worker Program (SSW) for environments that need a support-focused presence
- Security risk assessments and safety and security management planning
Managed, Supervised and Reported
Every site starts with an assessment and written post orders developed with your team. Field supervisors inspect sites regularly. Our 24/7 Command Centre supports officers during incidents. Incident and daily reports are submitted digitally, reviewed by management and shared with your designated contacts, so your team can act on trends and meet internal reporting needs. Clients can log in to TrackTik at any time and also receive a daily PDF report by email.
