Service You Can Rely On in Court
When a document must be served, the record of service matters as much as the delivery itself. Fivestar Bailiff serves legal documents for law firms, landlords, property managers, businesses and individuals, and provides the documentation needed to prove service. We follow the method of service required by the applicable rules or order and the instructions you provide.
What the Service Includes
Personal service
Delivering the document directly to the named person after confirming their identity.
Service attempts
Up to three attempts at different times of day if the first is unsuccessful.
Substituted service support
Where personal service is not possible, we record each attempt in detail so you have the evidence needed to request an alternative method of service from the court or tribunal. We carry out substituted service only where it is permitted or ordered.
Affidavit of service
A sworn affidavit setting out how, when and where service was completed, commissioned by a commissioner of oaths.
Status updates
Notice when an attempt is made, service is completed or an issue arises.
Documentation
Dates, times, locations, descriptions and photographs where appropriate, kept on file.
